Johnny Hollow
Janine White is the main composer in the music/art collaborative Johnny Hollow, co-founded in 2002 along with artist Vincent Marcone & cellist Kitty Thompson. They first emerged online with an award-winning interactive “riddle” website that seeded a global underground fanbase. Since then, they have produced 3 full-length albums, several shorter releases, music videos, and performed live alongside The Birthday Massacre, Dir En Grey, and Jakalope. Their music has been featured on television series’ Being Erica and Lost Girl. Their fanbase spans the globe, has supported several crowd-sourcing campaigns and numbers tens of thousands of spotify listeners and social media followers. Over the years the project has evolved to become a truly unique art & music collaboration. Their podcast series, Strange Muses, is a light-hearted ode to creative inspiration through stories and archetypes.
